Eligibility Criteria

Pass in S.S.L.C / X std or Equivalent Examination or II PUC / XII Std Under Science such as PCB, PCMB, CBZ or any other equivalent qualifications.

Course Duration

3 years Plus 3 months internship for S.S.L.C / X std students or 2 years Plus 3 months internship for II PUC (science) / XII students

Career Opportunities

After DHI the candidates can work as junior health assistants in Health Department, as Malaria inspector in Railway Department, as sanitary Inspector in Municipal Corporations and as health advisors in Non-Govt. Organisations. Being in the occupation you can pursue B.Sc and BSW.
After DMLT, one can work as Lab Technician in health department, Medical College, Various research labs, Being in the occupation one can pursue B.Sc(M.LT)

Medical Lab technologists work in Hospital laboratories, Pharmaceutical firms, Research facilities and other lab settings to assist Doctors & Surgeons in determining the pressure, severity and possible causes of disease. More expressional medical lab technologists may advance in the careers by conducting research, developing new methods of analysis, supervising and teaching clinical lab technicians.
